The tree originated from a seed planted by Herbert Bohls in Travis County, Texas (Sparks, 1992).
An extreme alternate bearer. Overloading in the on year causes poor filling, with most of the nuts blown out in the cleaning operation. Trees often broke up with the heavy crop load. Not recommended.
